Llega un nuevo volumen de la aclamada serie de Bootlegs de Bob Dylan.

Se ha anunciado el lanzamiento de “Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981″. Nueva serie de grabaciones que se enfocaran en la controversial y poco entendida etapa gospel de Bob Dylan de finales de los 70 y principios de los 80.

Con el titulo de Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981, la 13 entrega de la serie llegará el 3 de Noviembre y al igual que el resto de las series, tendrá varias ediciones, una que incluirá una caja de lujo de nueve discos. 

Después del álbum ‘Street Legal’ de 1978, Dylan comenzó un viaje espiritual de tres álbumes que dividieron y confundieron a sus fans. La mayoría de las canciones se centraron en la cristiandad, en la cuál Dylan y se había convertido antes del lanzamiento de ‘Slow Train Coming’. El álbum llego al número 3 de ventas, los álbumes ‘Saved’ y ‘Shot Of Love’ no les fue tan bien, dando a Dylan su peor chart de popularidad desde 1964 con ‘Another Side Of Bob Dylan’. En 1983, Bob Dylan abandono los temas religiosos y regreso a un estilo más tradicional en ‘Infidels’.

Seis de los 8 discos, recolectan canciones en vivo de ese periodo, incluyendo los conciertos de Toronto en 1980 y en Londres en 1981. De las 100 grabaciones ineditas en vivo y de estudio, ‘Trouble No More’ tendrá 14 tracks que nunca han sido publicados. Únicamente “Ye Shall Be Changed” que fue incluida en el debut de la serie “The Bootleg Series Vol 1-3” de 1991.

Dos discos tendrán material raro y nunca publicado, incluyendo soundchecks, tomas y canciones nunca lanzadas durante el periodo de 1979 del álbum ‘Slow Train Coming’ y de ‘Shots Of Love’ de 1981. 

La serie tendrá un Dvd con una nueva película de larga duración, ‘Trouble No More: A Musical Film’, cinta que documenta ese periodo con presentaciones en vivo.
